One off rooster sculpture. Welded car parts, and an old trophy. The Globe cup, a major award for Brisbane bicycle racers 110 years ago. “ I found this battered trophy on a rubbish pile. I had no idea what it was awarded for until I researched the names on it and found they were prominent cyclists, and that Globe was a big local furniture company that provided this trophy. This sculpture, highlights that every piece of one of my sculptures has had it’s own story. Being handled by an assembly factory worker somewhere in the world, travelling to Australia, being part of some thing useful, and then finally discarded as rubbish….Until I got hold of it.” SHIPPING IS CUSTOM AND NOT INCLUDED.
